Electric Propulsion Sailboat System with 30 kWh of LFP batteries 

This kit is designed as a drop-in replacement for sailboats to use electric propulsion. It it mounts into the engine bed and couples to the propeller shaft in the same way as the most common diesel engines (e.g. same footprint and shaft coupling as the Yanmar 3YM30 and 3YM20).

Included in the kit:

1. Newport-25 – a 25 kW (34 HP equivalent) inboard electric motor assembly (including 48 VDC Curtis motor controller)
2. Motor Mounts (x4)
3. Motor Shaft Coupler
4. Three of the 10 kWh LiFePO4 battery pack (51.2 volts nominal voltage) with BMS
5. EVMS Cockpit Computer and 10″ IP68 Touchscreen Display
6. Cable harness (40′) which includes four separate parts (motor harness, 20′ wire-run battery harness, and cockpit harness, 25′ wire-run between motor and cockpit)
7. key-switch with two keys
8. Throttle Assembly (two options available: 0-100% dial configuration and reverse switch, or a wig-wag throttle configuration)
9. Battery Cables (two, 2/0 cables, 15′ long, and terminated on each end with 5/16 tinned copper lugs)
10. 200 Amp marine circuit breaker located at the positive (+)  terminal of the battery pack
